If my photos draw you in, if they make you feel something, I’d love the opportunity to meet with you and chat about what you’re looking for in a picture. The best portraits are not necessarily the ones where everyone is looking at the camera and smiling, but the ones that show their true spirit and inner beauty. I want to be able to tell a story through each moment captured and provide people with memories and photos they can share throughout their lifetime. Before we start shooting senior portraits or family pictures, though, let me tell you a little about myself.
My father was in the military and I’ve lived in many different places, but the Pacific Northwest has been home since he retired here in the early 80’s. I earned a degree in Communications (Broadcasting) from WSU but found I liked being behind the camera more than in front of it! so I know how awkward it can feel in front of the lens! I’ve painted murals and have many years of experience as a landscape and nature photographer. I bring that artistic eye to the photo shoots I schedule with you. What I learned while watching eagles and waiting to catch the instant they take flight, I apply to catching your children’s giggles or the look of love as you gaze at your fiancé.
When you’re looking for the person to capture your joy or excitement – whatever feelings you’re hoping to see in your pictures – it can be very personal. It is for me too! As you scroll through my gallery, I hope you can see that I love capturing unscripted moments of love, laughter, and emotion. I’m happy to work in formal poses during our shoot
