“Volunteer! Start where you are. Use what you have. Do what you can.” – Arthur Ashe Registration opens 1st week of May! Day of Caring is a great way to lend a hand in our shared communities while making memories with friends, family, service clubs, faith organizations, youth groups, and co-workers, providing the labor needed to accomplish tasks that are not within normal agency budgets. You can browse the full list of projects at www.volunteerkitsap.org, scroll down until you see 24th Annual Day of Caring, then click on Learn More. To get more info, click View Details on a project. From there, you can also register as an individual or sign up your team by clicking on the group of people next to Respond. The event will kick off at the Kitsap County Fairgrounds-President’s Hall at 7:30 AM on Friday, June 23rd, where you'll meet other volunteers, enjoy a continental breakfast, mini-rally, and then grab your t-shirts, bottled water, and boxed lunches before heading out to your project sites.
